Andrew and Mandy are both participating in Jump Rope for Heart, which is a fund raising event for the American Heart Association. Andrew and Mandy both are jumping in honor of Mama Ola, their late great-grandmother.

I know it's just kids jumping rope, but the American Heart Association is not particularly efficient in their use of money, and they have promoted a "health" campaign that has actually contributed to an INCREASE in heart disease, so they aren't even a trustworthy source of advice. I'm afraid I can't in good conscience support this particular charity. I would have if it had been some other organization.
